About The Project

Start Smiling is an established dental practice built around high-quality care, patient comfort and a personal approach. The practice needed a digital presence that better reflected its experienced team, welcoming environment and commitment to helping patients maintain healthy, confident smiles. Our role was to modernise the website and make the route from first visit to enquiry simpler and more reassuring.

We created a responsive website with clearer navigation, updated visual presentation and structured treatment information designed around the needs of prospective and existing patients. Team profiles, patient feedback and practice imagery were used to build familiarity, while prominent booking points made it easier for visitors to take the next step. We also improved the website's SEO foundations, supporting greater visibility for relevant local treatments and services.

To carry the same message into the practice, we produced a professional waiting room video that introduces key services and reinforces the Start Smiling approach. The result is a connected patient experience that feels warm, informative and consistent before, during and after an appointment. It also gives the team a stronger platform for campaigns.

Problem Statement

Start Smiling's previous website did not fully represent the quality, personality or patient experience offered by the practice. Information was harder to navigate than necessary, key treatments were not positioned clearly and the design lacked the warmth expected from an established, people-focused team. The practice needed stronger local search foundations and a more direct route to booking, while ensuring nervous or uncertain patients felt reassured. Its in-practice communications also needed to reflect the same messages, creating consistency between the online journey and the waiting room experience across all patient touchpoints.

Solution

We developed a modern, mobile-friendly website focused on reassurance, clarity and straightforward access to care. Treatment pages were reorganised, team and practice content was brought forward and booking calls to action were positioned throughout the journey. Improved SEO structure supported stronger local discoverability across priority services. We also created a branded waiting room video to introduce treatments and reinforce the practice's values after patients arrived. Together, the website and in-practice content provide a consistent experience that builds familiarity, answers questions and encourages confident appointment decisions while supporting sustainable practice growth.

To improve Start Smiling’s local search visibility, we developed an SEO strategy focused on strengthening key treatment pages and the overall website structure. This included optimising metadata, page content, internal linking and technical elements while targeting high-intent local searches. We also created clearer, search-focused treatment content to improve relevance and help Google better understand the services offered. The result is a stronger organic foundation, improved visibility for important treatments and a website better positioned to attract patients actively searching for dental care locally.
